Meet Dr. Spencer J. Lloyd
When Dr. Spencer Lloyd was a young boy, he used his artistic skills to sculpt faces and shapes out of modeling clay. His father saw his work and encouraged him to consider dentistry, which is how the idea of being a dentist was planted in his mind. His first experience with a dentist was very negative, as that dentist was rough and mean. The second dentist he saw inspired him with his kind, gentle, and compassionate approach. It made Dr. Lloyd want to help patients have a good experience at the dental office. For over 25 years, he has been doing just that.
Patients love Dr. Lloyd because he spends time with them to get to know their goals and desires. He is gentle and attentive to their comfort. He is also great at making patients laugh (with or without laughing gas!). The best part of his job is helping patients improve their overall health by improving their oral health. He finds great satisfaction in helping people smile confidently and helping anxious patients receive care in a way that is comfortable for them. Many patients thank Dr. Lloyd for changing their perception of the dentist.
In his free time, Dr. Lloyd loves to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, road trips, watching movies, and reading history and biographies – he is on a journey to read a biography of every US president! He serves the community, especially through volunteer dental work, and he serves in the Caldwell Lions Club and his church.

- International Congress of Oral Implantologists – Fellow
- Academy of General Dentistry – Fellow 2009, Master 2013, Lifetime Leadership and Service Recognition 2020 (will receive this award again in 2025) –
- To qualify for these awards and recognitions, Dr. Lloyd achieved 2100+ hours of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, over 400+ hours of dental volunteerism in the community and world, and showing leadership in the profession.
